Cut on natural wood

Cooking involves cutting ingredients such as vegetables, fruits or herbs. The natural material wood is best suited for this. It is inherently a knife-friendly material, and so knives retain their sharpness when cut on wood. In addition, wood is known for its antibacterial effect. This makes it more hygenic than plastic boards.

Beech, maple or walnut (elm)

Here you will find cutting boards made of native woods. Maple, elm and especially beech are hardwoods and therefore very suitable for cutting boards. Thanks to the high surface hardness, they remain attractive and attractive for a long time. The surface is oiled food safe, the oil penetrates into the wood and thus protects it from the inside. If necessary, the surface may be treated with an oil such as olive oil or linseed oil.

Professional wood drying creates the prerequisite for low-warp cutting boards. Thanks to the watertight gluing by means of high-pressure presses, the boards are almost indestructible even in daily use.
