It is made of poplar and ash wood. Because of its flexibility and pliability, ash is particularly suitable for keeping the case light and yet stable. The frame is galvanized and glued at its corners. The resulting interlocking makes the case frame very stable, so the wall thickness of the wood can be kept low. This keeps the wooden briefcase light and weighs only 2.5 kg. Two wooden panels made of laminated wood with decorative poplar veneer are inserted into the frame at the front and rear. This gives the wooden briefcase additional stability.
